Proficient in all Microsoft programs; high level proficiency in Excel. Required: Certified as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist from either American Medical Technology (AMT), American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), or American Society of Clinical Pathologist – International (ASCPi). Required: Associates Degree OR completion of an accredited MLT Program Preferred: 1 Year experience in a laboratory Strong analytical/problem solving skills. :Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist perform tests on blood and body fluids to determine the presence or absence of disease, monitor response to treatment and aid in health maintenance. Serves as a technical resource for lesser credentialed staff and assist in training new or lesser credentialed staff. Responsible to troubleshoot and address instrument issues and recognize need for service. Responsible to use critical thinking and clinical knowledge to assess questionable results and correlate with clinical information to determine accuracy.Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS/MT)
