JOB DESCRIPTION
Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) – Per Diem
📍 Location: Eureka Springs, AR
🏥 Facility: Eureka Springs Hospital
💲 Pay Rate:
• MLT: $30–$35/hr
• MT/MLS: $37–$40/hr
🕒 Schedule: Per Diem (PRN) – No Guaranteed Hours
⏰ Shift: 12-Hour Shifts (Rotating as Needed)
Job Overview
Pride Health is seeking qualified MTs, MLTs, and MLS professionals for a Per Diem opportunity with Eureka Springs Hospital. This role is ideal for laboratory professionals looking for flexible scheduling while utilizing their expertise across multiple laboratory disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform laboratory testing accurately and efficiently
• Conduct daily quality control and instrument maintenance
• Operate and troubleshoot Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, and Coagulation analyzers
• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
• Complete Blood Bank testing, including Type & Screen, Antibody Screening, Compatibility Testing, and Quality Control
• Perform serology, microbiology, microscopy, and other laboratory testing as needed
• Maintain compliance with laboratory policies, procedures, and Universal Precautions
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and healthcare staff
Qualifications
MLT Requirements
• Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
• MLT Certification through ASCP or AMT
• Strong laboratory testing and specimen collection skills
MT / MLS Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
• MT or MLS Certification through ASCP
• Experience in clinical laboratory operations
Preferred Qualifications
• Blood Bank experience preferred
• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
