Location: Cape Girardeau MOFull-Time: Non - Exempt.Hours: 8a-4:30p Monday-Friday.Base Pay: $15.42 per hourMinimum Required Qualifications:At minimum High School Diploma / GED / HSEPreferred valid CNA certification or Level One Medication Aide CertificationL1MA Cert would be provided upon hire if not obtained alreadyPrevious medical office experience or mental health experience is preferred.Job SummaryAs the Medical Office Aide you would be working in our Doctors Office in Cape Girardeau to ensure appropriate records are complete prior to a client seeing our psychiatrist / nurse practitioner. You would be responsible for taking & recording vital signs measuring height & weight and completing basic questions/answers with clients upon arrival and prior to their doctors appointment.Essential FunctionsTake & record blood pressure & pulse on arriving clients prior to appointments.Obtain & document height & weight on same clients.Provide assistance with the telemedicine process.Work closely with the nursing staff.Ensure that the values and mission of the agency are carried out.Assist with collection of urine drug screenings as necessary.Document according to clinical policies and procedures DMH CARF and any other federal or state program per agency standards.Non Essential FunctionsMaintain compliance with all policy and procedures.Complete all required training.Work cooperatively with other departments and members of the community.Participate in all required meetings as determined by supervisor.May be required to travel to other offices.Other duties as assigned.The Agency Community Counseling Center (CCC) - Your Behavioral Health Wellness Resource - is a behavioral health organization that has been serving the public since 1974.
