By combining virtual and in-person counseling community support and access to life-saving medication we help people move beyond addiction to find belonging love and purpose.If youre looking to roll up your sleeves and meet hard challenges head-on then were looking for you.The role:Our team is seeking a Medical Provider NP PA to provide whole-person care to people struggling with addiction. This includes treatment of substance use disorders in our opioid use disorder (OUD) and alcohol use disorder (AUD) programs providing medication-assisted treatment in collaboration with our behavioral health team. Through our Responsive Care services you will provide comprehensive medical and mental health services to our members similar in scope to urgent and primary care services. You will work side by side with our licensed substance use and mental health counselors helping our members find their way through their individualized recovery journey. Your work is essential to the members and your constant feedback will be expected to help them have the best outcome possible. Your support will allow members to receive quality care in their communities and help make a better life within reach. Your work will combine telehealth and in-person care at partner sites within the community. We offer access to care to our members between the hours of 9 am to 8 pm Monday through Friday and from 1 PM to 5 PM on Saturdays. We offer full-time part-time and hourly positions.This is a hybrid position with a potential of hybrid care in the communities we serve. All candidates must reside in-market (New Hampshire).What you will do:Performing medical evaluations and initiation of medications for OUD and AUDDiagnosing and treating medical and mental health complaints at the level of a primary or urgent care providerCo-facilitating group therapy and medical education meetings with a licensed counselorDemonstrating and communicating the core values of Better Life PartnersParticipating in Better Life Partners and their community research and public health partners research and data collection effortsCollaborating with Better Life Partners interdisciplinary teams on case management and care coordination effortsAdhering to professional and ethical work standardsMaintaining compliance with Federal state and local regulationsAttending and engaging in regular training and company meetingsVery comfortable with dual diagnosis patients and psychiatric comorbiditiesYou are a good fit if you have:New Hampshire License as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (additional state licenses in Vermont Massachusetts and Maine a plus)Active DEA in states in which you hold a licenseSeveral years of experience in the practice of addiction medicine or psychiatry primary or urgent careStrong affinity with and compassion for people and communities suffering from addictionWillingness to travel locally in New HampshireProviders should be fully prepared for a hybrid work model: spending a portion of time seeing members virtually but also being mobile and willing to see members at any of our New Hampshire partner locations. Reasonable travel is likely expected. Strong preference is given to candidates who feel comfortable and capable of managing mental health conditionsStrong preference is given to candidates who feel comfortable and capable of managing mental health conditionsA flexible proactive and inquisitive approach to improving care delivery processesExtensive experience with electronic health records; experience with and comfortable with telemedicineComfortable with some limited evening and weekend coverageIt will also be great if you have:Full and part time considered however preference will be given to those able to work 32-40 hours weeklyAdditional state licenses in Vermont Massachusetts and MaineWork location requirements:BLP operates in hybrid and remote work environments which allows us to better meet our members and partners where theyre located. Candidates applying for this role must be willing and able to travel locally within the communities we serve and/or travel to onsite meetings as expected in coordination with their department and business needs.When working from home the requirements include:Must have reliable internet service with a fast upload/download abilityAbility to ensure any protected health or proprietary data/information is not visible (or audible) to others in any work locationMust have a quiet space to speak to members team members or external partners with minimal background noise and distractions$108000 - $141000 a yearThis is a full-time exempt position. For physician assistants and nurse practitioners the starting salary range for this position is $107900 - $141000 annually benefits.The actual compensation offered within the range along with title and level will be dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to relevant experience qualifications skills level offered business requirements and performance expectations.
