Job DescriptionSpectrum Healthcare Resources has an exciting Potential Opportunity for a Medical Suppy Technician to support Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville KY.Make an Impact Every DayAre you detail-oriented reliable and motivated by meaningful work Join our team as a Medical Supply Technician and play a critical role in supporting the healthcare needs of our nations Veterans.This is more than a supply role youll help keep hospital operations running smoothly ensuring medical teams have the supplies they need exactly when they need them.What You BringUS CitizenshipHigh School Diploma or equivalent2 years experience in inventory logistics supply chain or medical supply handlingStrong attention to detail and ability to follow established proceduresBasic computer skills (Word Excel barcode scanning tools)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push carts over 100 lbsClear background check; no criminal recordFluent English (speaking reading writing)Willingness to work in different environments (hot cold warehouse clinical areas)What Youll DoManage stock and distribute sterile and non-sterile medical supplies across the medical centerUse barcode scanners and automated systems to track inventoryFollow FIFO (First In First Out) methods for accuracy and safetyEnsure expired recalled or compromised supplies are removedStock inventory in wards clinics ORs and supply areasKeep supply rooms clean organized and ready for daily operationsMonitor supply needs and escalate any issues to senior staffWhy This Role MattersYour accuracy ensures safety.Your efficiency supports patient care.Your commitment keeps the VA running smoothly every single day.What we Offer:Full-Time position 40hrs per weekMedical / Dental / Vision / 401kPTO and Sick time11 Paid Federal HolidaysFor More Information Contact:Laura HatcherCompany Overview: At Spectrum we utilize over thirty-five years of experience providing optimal solutions for federal agencies that are both innovative and cost-effective.
