Medical Technician at Pride Health

Pride Health is hiring a Travel Medical Technician to support our client’s medical facility in Blue Hill, ME. This is a 3+ month contract with the possibility of a contract hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Title: Travel Medical Technician

Location: Blue Hill, ME 04614

Pay Rate: $50-$55/hr. - Weekly- $2,000 - $2,200

Duration: 3+ Months,

Shift: Mon - Fri 2:00pm - 10:30pm

*Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

• Follow lab procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting, and recordkeeping
• Perform testing using approved methods and SOPs
• Review and release accurate test results
• Maintain quality control, calibration, and maintenance records
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines
• Identify and report testing issues or deviations to supervisor
• Document corrective actions for any errors or system issues
• Report critical results as per department guidelines
• Maintain proper documentation of all tests performed
• Ensure reagents and test kits are labeled with dates and stored properly
• Maintain clean and organized work area
• Assist with training and learning new procedures
• Participate in team meetings and safety training
• Communicate with staff and clients when needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Medical Laboratory Science
• 1–3 years of clinical lab experience
• MLT/MLS Certification
• Strong ability to multitask and prioritize work
