We are excited to help bring top laboratory professionals into a system that values collaboration professional growth and service to the community.Position OverviewThe Medical Laboratory Technologist performs a wide range of routine and specialized laboratory testing to support the diagnosis monitoring and treatment of disease. This role uses advanced laboratory instrumentation and information systems evaluates and validates patient results and exercises considerable independent judgment within established testing methodologies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented quality-focused and committed to maintaining the highest standards of laboratory performance.Day Shift (8:00am4:30pm)Salary: $30$37/hourSign-On Bonus or Relocation Incentive AvailableKey ResponsibilitiesPerform moderate- and high-complexity laboratory tests using established methodologies and instrumentation.Validate interpret and report patient results using sound clinical judgment.Perform daily weekly and monthly quality control procedures; document and troubleshoot QC issues as needed.Operate maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and analyzers; coordinate vendor service when required.Maintain accurate records of testing QC instrument maintenance and regulatory documentation.Assist with new test validation procedure development and implementation of updated instruments or methodologies.Lead or participate in lab initiatives such as safety performance improvement regulatory readiness administrative tasks or computer systems management.Train and mentor new employees and students in laboratory theory procedures and operational workflow.Serve as a technical resource for less experienced staff and assist with problem-solving across the department.Support inventory and supply management to ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations.Perform other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsAssociates Degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Technology (required)Bachelors Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (preferred)ASCP or AMT certification (preferred)Minimum of 2 years of experience in moderate- to high-complexity clinical laboratory testing (preferred)Why Work HereCompetitive hourly wages ($30$37/hour)Day-shift schedule with no nightsSign-on bonus or relocation assistance for qualifying candidatesWork in a respected regional health system with a strong culture of teamwork quality and patient-centered careOpportunity for continued professional development and advancementAbout Us:At Lighthouse Lab Services we offer solutions to help start grow and run clinical laboratories.
