LPN – Medication Room Supervisor

Pay: $30.00 – $38.00 per hour

Job Summary

The Sentinel of Rockland, an assisted living community, is looking for an experienced, compassionate, and dependable LPN to join our team as a Medication Room Supervisor.

This position is responsible for overseeing the medication room, ensuring safe medication management, maintaining compliance, and supporting our caregiving team. This is a supervisory role with no hands-on resident care required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the medication room

• Ensure proper medication administration procedures are followed

• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation

• Monitor medication inventory and ordering

• Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility policies

• Support and guide medication technicians and caregiving staff

• Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, and families as needed

• Assist with audits, inspections, and medication reviews

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New York State

• Previous experience in assisted living, senior care, or long-term care preferred

• Strong knowledge of medication management and compliance standards

• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude
