We are seeking a Member Experience Consumer Trainer-a dynamic, relationship-driven professional who is excited to develop, mentor, and elevate our Member facing teams across our service centers.

  • Work Environment: This position is based on-site in one of our Service Centers. Following the completion of your initial onboarding and training, you will have the flexibility to work remotely 1 to 2 days per week as part of our hybrid work model depending on performance and operational requirements. In addition, this position does require travel to all of our HHCU Service Centers to lead training as needed.

Opportunity Overview:

As a Member Experience Consumer Trainer, you will play a key role in cultivating exceptional Member experiences across all service centers. You will train, coach, and mentor Team Members to ensure they are confident, knowledgeable, and equipped to deliver consultative, needs-based conversations with Members.

This role blends training expertise, classroom training delivery, product knowledge, and collaborative partnership with leadership to drive consistency, engagement, and high performance across all service centers.

What You'll Do:

Service & Sales Coaching

  • Train our Team Members on our core processing system, operating policies and procedure-based recommendations.
  • Conduct live observations, side-by-side coaching, and post-interaction feedback.
  • Reinforce Hoosier Hills Credit Union's service culture, ensuring every transaction becomes an interaction.
  • Coach Team Members to be Member Advocates and Financial Advisors, recognizing and recommending appropriate solutions.

Product & Solution Expertise

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Hoosier Hill Credit Union loans, deposits, digital banking, and more.
  • Teach Team Members to confidently present product features and benefits.
  • Promote alignment between Member needs and Hoosier Hills Credit Union solutions.

Learning Program Development

  • Design, deliver, and refine training programs (onboarding, technical, soft skills, service, compliance.)
  • Facilitate in-person, virtual, and blended learning experiences.
  • Create curriculum, manage training schedules, and apply adult learning principles.
  • Provide refresher or remedial training as needed.

Field Presence & Partnership

  • Visit our service centers regularly to provide hands-on coaching and training.
  • Serve as the liaison between Learning & Development and Member Experience leadership.
  • Represent Learning and Development needs in cross-functional needs and projects.
  • Support initiatives that improve consistency, performance, and service excellence.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current on training trends, instructional design practices, and industry knowledge.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and revise content based on data and feedback.
  • Maintain working knowledge of LMS platforms and training technology.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education & Experience: A bachelor's degree in education, human resources or a business-related field. 3 years or more in retail banking, member engagement and or sales coaching.
  • Expertise: Strong understanding of financial products, services, and market trends. Proficiency in software systems related to Core, Lending, Budget, and Compliance.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, sales, and service skills with a proven ability to lead, resolve conflicts, and drive results.
  • Judgment & Problem-Solving: The ability to analyze complex situations, apply sound principles, and develop effective solutions.
