Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: We're looking for someone like YOU to join our team as a Mental Health Counselor!At On Demand Counseling, you can enjoy a flexible work schedule consisting of work from home availability and in-office patients.We're located in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana County with mental health providers of all skillsets and credentials. As an ODC Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for patient care, documentation and communication with the Program Director.This position is full time: M-F 9am-5pmOur mission is to enhance the lives of everyone that goes through our company, whether that be as an employee or as a client.Come grow with us!Company culture is important to us:80% company paid medical insurance for the employee and all dependents effective the first of the month following your start date!Optional dental and vision plans at reduced rates100% company paid life insurance plan of $25,000 (with supplemental available)401(k) with above average matching after one year of employment.Paid Time Off (PTO) and 5 paid holidaysFrequent free employee meals, events and activitiesCompany-paid continuing education units (CEU) to further knowledge and industry standardsSIGN ON BONUS!!ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Work closely with clients who may be experiencing substance use disordersAssess patient needs, apply ASAM level of care considerationsCreate and manage individualized treatment plansProvide individual and/or group counseling intervention to those experiencing various behavioral health conditions, in accordance with the treatment planCoordinate with a full-spectrum of internal and external providers by way of referralAct as an advocate for program participants with courts, schools, treatment centers, and other services as appropriate in order to make referrals and conduct follow-upsPrepare written reports, regular case dictation and summaries for consultation in accordance with ethical, program, and required time standardsParticipate in curriculum development and supervision of clientsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Must have an active OHIO LPC, LPCC or LSW, MSW licensurePreferred: 1-2 years previous experience working with patients experiencing dual diagnosis/substance use disordersDemonstrates the ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical standards re: clinician and employee conductMust be organized, detail orientedMust have competent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.Good working knowledge of computers and familiarity of Microsoft Office.Experience working with a team of professional staff desirablePHYSICAL DEMANDS:Physical demands described are representative of those that must be routinely met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of this position.
