Sentient offers individual and couples therapy rooted in psychodynamic, relational, and mindfulness-based approaches, specializing in work with high-functioning adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, identity, and relationship challenges.
Position Details:
This is an IN-PERSON, W-2 employed part-time (10 - 15 hours) or full-time (15 - 25 hours per week) with one work-from-day as an option. You will receive competitive, fee-for-service pay that reflects your experience.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $50–$100 per clinical hour, commensurate with experience and licensure
- Paid sick leave & family leave (NYS compliant)
- Up to 2 weeks (40 hours) of unpaid vacation annually
- Performance bonuses at the discretion of the practice
- 401K after 3 years
Training & Supervision:
- Weekly individual in-person supervision for MHC-LP's
- 500 hours for Diagnostic Privilege upon licensure
- Weekly virtual group supervision
- Integration of clinical and caseload management support for best practices
- In-house and off-site training opportunities for professional development
Practice Support:
- Full administrative and billing support
- Comprehensive onboarding process
- Access to robust clinical resources and templates
- HIPAA-compliant EHR (SimplePractice) for notes, scheduling, and telehealth
- Consistent client referrals through active marketing and established community partnerships
- Biannual performance reviews to support your growth and caseload management
We’re Looking for Emerging Clinicians Who Have:
- A master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and eligible for a Limited Permit (MHC-LP) or or fully licensed (LMHC) to practice in New York State, interested in private practice training and experience
- Clinical experience in intakes, risk assessments, diagnostic formulation, and individual and/or couples therapy
- An interest in psychodynamic and mindfulness-based approaches (ACT, DBT, IFS, etc.)
- Cultural and clinical humility and comfort working with diverse populations
- Excellent documentation and administrative habits
- Familiarity with EMR systems and remote work protocols
