Duties include discussing goals and objectives of proposed treatment plans and establishing a contract with the consumer. Interviewing consumers to team with mental health professionals in determining the needs of individuals or groups on a walk-in/telephone basis; respond to potential suicide or other emergency events. Visit clients individually or as part of a team in a variety of living situations to help assess the mental health needs of individuals and families observe progress provide counseling gather data and report significant changes in the clients condition to designated professional staff.Division/Program OverviewThe Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) is a short-term voluntary residential facility tailored to adults aged 18-59 experiencing psychiatric crises. Its purpose is to provide a safe environment for stabilization recovery and community transition. Services offered include round-the-clock programs therapeutic and mental health services rehabilitation and recovery support (including substance use rehabilitation) pre-vocational or vocational counseling medication evaluation and support daily exercise health/wellness education and crisis intervention.Learn more about SBHG at: Additional Information:In accordance with California law the grade for this position is 68640.00 - 98178.07.
