This position ensures that sales margin inventory and profit goals are met by creating robust financial frameworks collaborating with buying and location teams and providing actionable insights that drive business performance.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the development of strategic merchandise plans that align with company goalsDevelop and manage pre-season and in-season merchandise financial plans including sales markdowns margins inventory and open-to-buyReforecast financial plans based on performance trends and market dynamicsAnalyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunitiesProvide insights on category performance sales trends and inventory productivityPartner with Buyers Location Planners and Allocation teams to align financial plans with assortment strategiesPrepare and present financial reports analysis and recommendations to senior leadershipMonitor inventory levels and recommend actions to optimize stock-to-sales ratiosCollaborate with allocation teams to manage replenishment and ensure the timely flow of merchandiseQUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTESBachelors degree in Business Finance Merchandising or a related field3 years of experience in merchandise planning financial planning or a related retail positionStrong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel planning systems and reporting toolsDeep understanding of key retail metrics (sales gross margin turn weeks of supply open-to-buy)Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partnersDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesAdditional duties as assignedWhen it comes to finding the right fit we know there is a lot to consider.
