JOB DESCRIPTION

Merchandising Intern

Part time 24 hours a week $13/hr

Position Overview

The Merchandising Intern will support the merchandising team in the day-to-day execution of product presentation and merchandising initiatives. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail, an interest in fashion or jewelry, and a desire to learn how products are curated/presented. The intern will assist with product organization, visual merchandising projects, trend research, and the creation of presentations that support merchandising strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily operations and project tasks
  • Conduct trend and market research within the jewelry and fashion industry.
  • Support team members with administrative and organizational duties
  • Help put together internal and customer presentations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed
  • Perform administrative tasks and support special merchandising projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy when working with product information, and presentation materials.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
  • Interest in jewelry, fashion, or retail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous retail, fashion, retail, or visual merchandising experience.
  • Experience creating presentations, mood boards, product decks, or school projects related to merchandising, marketing, or design.
