Metal Finisher/Shop Helper at Accentuate Staffing

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading custom equipment fabricator in Durham, NC who is looking for a Metal Finisher/Shop Helper to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity working 6:30am-5pm Monday-Thursday. Responsibilities: Perform metal finishing, polishing, and deburring of parts to meet quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings. Support CNC Machinists and Fabricators as needed. Ensure quality control and accuracy in all production processes. Perform general maintenance and help with shop upkeep. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines. Requirements: Previous experience working in a Sheet Metal Fabrication Shop. Background in metal finishing, polishing, or a similar role is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Willingness to learn and support various shop tasks. Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings. Basic understanding of safety practices in a machine shop. Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
