As a refinisher youll be using your expertise in buffing stripping sanding masking filling spraying oxidizing and finishing techniques to restore surfaces to their best state.Key Responsibilities:Accountable for following work order instructions and Lead Foreman directions to ensure all jobs are completed to quality standards and in a timely mannerWorking with solvents chemicals pneumatic and power toolsFollow all safety and OSHA related protocols including the use of company vehiclesSuccessfully complete all required safety and training modulesWork nights (generally 4/5pm 2/3am) with flexibility to work occasional days or weekendsOccasion out of town travel (in company van with daily per diem allowance & individual hotel)Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma or G.E.D preferredCurrent and valid drivers license with an insurable driving recordEffective communication skills both written and verbalComfortable with heights and working in confined spacesAbility to kneel squat bend lift reach climb and carry equipment up to 60lbs unassistedPainter or spraying experience of any typeHigh level of attention to detail/cleanlinessCompensation & Benefits:Base of $20 per hour/ 40hrs a week during first 30 days of trainingAfter passing apprentice trainee testing eligible for bonus pay planComprehensive benefits package including:Paid Vacation and additional Paid HolidaysHealth Dental and Vision InsuranceCompany-paid life insurance with voluntary life & AD&D insurance options401(k) with Company MatchVoluntary Short- and Long-Term Disability CoverageService AwardsPaid Training & advancement programsMASS is a Federal Contractor and is an Equal Opportunity Employer including Protected Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities.
