Shift hours - 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.Salary: $19/hr-$23/hr + $1.00 Shift Diff once on 2nd shift ResponsibilitiesPerform metallurgical evaluations on metallic materialsSection, mount and polishes, using automated equipment or by hand, in preparation for metallurgical evaluationSetup equipment and perform testing for metallurgical corrosion evaluationsProvides support to Metallurgists and Failure Analysis EngineersWorks with other staff to meet the delivery obligations of the metallographic laboratoryEnsure safety of self, coworkers, and visitors by following written and verbal safety proceduresApply and record data using sensitive instrumentationParticipates in company 5S and Safety initiativesSkills / QualificationsIs this job for me? The person for this role will be a specialist in their field, respected by all who they work with, keen to learn and enthusiastic in the face of challenge.
