Job InfoPOSITION - Union:Meter Representative CNUMBER OF POSITIONS: 1LOCATION: CNG - CT - East Hartford - Meadow StHOURLY RATE RANGE:$40.35 - $47.23QUALIFICATIONS:Must be able to read write and speak English effectively.Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions.Must have a good degree of mechanical aptitude.Must have a MVD license and a good driving record.Must be physically able to perform the duties required.DUTIES:*Turn off remove reset change turn on gas meters and combinations thereof in accordance with established procedures. This includes the re-lighting of gas appliances and the resetting and/or adjustment of service regulators if necessary.*Inspect gas facilities on customers premises for safety and adherence to safety codes.Assists other field men in related duties.THIS IS A DOT SAFETYSENSITIVE POSITION.
