We look forward to meeting you.The Role Utilizes metrology calibration systems and techniques to measure characteristics of objects based on applied principles of measurement science. Performs measurement surveys using Photogrammetry Total Stations Laser Trackers CMMs or other electronic 3D instruments. Uses 3D model based software and design drawings to plan and execute the measurement survey including the analysis of the collected data to the end user. Develops coordinates and conducts technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design. Recommends design or test methods utilizing metrology methodologies for the achievement of product reliability. Compiles and analyzes measured data reports includes analysis of relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes. May utilize Visual Basic to enhance the functionality of 3D measurement software.Must Have A program graduation certificate from an approved institution may be substituted for an Apprentice Certification Associates degree or other 2 year technical degree in relavent field and 3 years of related experience.2 years of related experience can be substituted for Associate s degree. 4 years of non-related experience can be substituted for Associate s degree.Nice to Have Why HIIWe build the worlds most powerful survivable naval ships and defense technology solutions that safeguard our seas sky land space and cyber.
