Key Responsibilities Perform routine calibration and verification of precision measurement equipment and gages. Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other advanced metrology systems. Conduct dimensional inspections of manufactured parts using a variety of precision measuring tools. Document inspection results calibration data and maintain accurate records in compliance with quality standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with measurement equipment escalating complex problems as needed. Support manufacturing and engineering teams by providing accurate measurement data and analysis. Assist in the development and improvement of metrology procedures and best practices. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree in Metrology Quality Assurance or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other metrology equipment. Proficiency with a wide range of precision measurement hand tools (e.g. calipers micrometers height gauges bore gauges). Strong ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints including comprehensive understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Fundamental understanding of calibration principles measurement uncertainty and quality management systems. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced CMM programming (e.g. PC-DMIS scripting) or metrology data analysis software. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher. Proficiency in applying ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards to complex parts.
