Microbiology Lab Support (Wed-Sat) at Eurofins

This role provides environmental monitoring and microbiology lab support in a controlled manufacturing environment. It is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and contributing to quality and compliance in biopharmaceutical operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform environmental monitoring in cleanrooms and controlled areas to ensure compliance with cGMP standards.Collect samples from high-purity water systems clean steam and compressed gases for routine testing.Support general lab operations including:Cleaning controlled temperature unitsOperating autoclavesMaintaining lab cleanliness and organizationAssist with equipment maintenance and calibration coordination.Use the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to log samples and maintain accurate records.Participate in overtime weekend holiday and on-call rotations as needed.Cleanroom Requirements: No cosmetic products (e.g. makeup false lashes) are permitted; all must be removed prior to entry. Nails must be short trimmed and unadorned (no polish or decorations). No jewelry is allowed except medical alert items or one smooth ring band. Hair must be neatly tied back and contained in a hairnet; all facial hair must be trimmed and secured in a beard cover. Qualifications : Minimum RequirementsBachelors degree in Biology or related field OR Associates degree in Life Sciences with relevant experience.Ability to meet physical demands:Lift 25 lbs or moreStand/walk for extended periodsPush/pull carts and equipmentStrong organizational skills attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.Proficiency with computer systems and willingness to learn new techniques.Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship.Preferred QualificationsExperience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology environments.Familiarity with microbial identification and environmental monitoring.Knowledge of cGMP regulations and LIMS systems.Additional Information : What to Expect in the Hiring Process: 10-15 Minute Phone Interview with Region Recruiter45-60 Minute Virtual Interview with Manager and/or Group Leader30 Minute Virtual Meeting with Site DirectorAdditional Details: This is a full-time onsite position based on a first-shift schedule Wednesday through Saturday with overtime required as needed.
