University of Colorado AnschutzDepartment:Medicine/Pulmonary Allergy and Critical Care MedicineJob Title:MICU Shift - Open Rank-Instructor Sr. Instructor Assistant Associate ProfessorPosition # Requisition #38290 Job Summary:The Division of Pulmonary Allergy and Critical Care Medicine is looking for board certified or board eligible Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians who will perform clinical services (pulmonary or critical care) on an as-needed basis fee-for-services on the Medical ICU night shift. Key Responsibilities: Inpatient evaluation and management of acute and critically ill patients with complex medical and pulmonary diseases. Staff the Medical Intensive Care Unit and/or Medical Surgical Progressive Care Unit. Ordering and interpreting tests and evaluations for patient management Collaborating with consulting services on patient management Perform invasive procedures with appropriate credentials Provide cross-coverage for other service lines within the Division as needed Support the educational mission of the division Other duties assigned by the Lead Advanced Practice Provider and/or the Associate Chair for Clinical Affairs Please note: this position is not eligible for benefits. We continue to enhance all aspects of our division and training program and as a result we have seen tremendous and sustained growth. The clinical practice sites have built new hospitals and there are multiple new research buildings across the campuses.
