Mid-Level Acquisition Specialist at Seventh Sense Consulting

In anticipation of a contract award we are looking for a Mid-LevelAcquisition Specialist to join our team.Hiring Timeframe:UpcomingWork Location:This position will be performedon site in Camp Springs MD. Seventh Sense will support your commute by contributing over $1500 annually to your Transportation FSA.What Youll Do:Carry out predetermined and recurring tasks in direct support of the government clientscontracting office.Provide full life cycle cradle to grave contract planning support and administration.Provide support functions that may include acquisition planning purchase order/procurement request support documentation preparation solicitation preparation market research/analysis source selection and administration of terms and conditions negotiation and preparation of contract award and modifications cost/price analysis support government in the evaluation of contractor performance contract administration support contract termination and contract close-out.Must Haves: Bachelors degree and at least 24 hours in business-related courses in any of the following fields: accounting business finance law contracts purchasing economics industrial management marketing quantitative methods or organization and management.7 years of related Contracts/Acquisition experience -depth working knowledge of federal procurement regulations and policies and be knowledgeable and experienced using electronic media including Microsoft Office (Word Excel PPT etc.).Experience working within a DoD / DoW contracting environment.Excellent writing skills and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Knowledgeable of and experienced workingwith the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and DFARS.Documented proficiency withcontract writing systems such as PRISM PD2 and/or CLM.Working For Seventh Sense:Our company was founded on a family-oriented philosophy and our culture is rooted in making a difference in the lives of our work family members (referred to simply as members rather than employees).Our comprehensive benefits include:Medical dental and vision insurance401(k) plan with generous company match and immediate vestingPTO and 11 paid holidaysEmployee Assistance ProgramAccident and Critical Care insurance optionsUnique benefits include:Day off to celebrate your birthdayDay off on your company anniversary dateDay off to volunteer for the community service project of your choiceA Bonus Plan that allows each member to financially benefit from company team and individual success.
