Mid-Level Information Technology DeveloperCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for a Mid-Level Information Technology Developer to join the team in Seattle WA; Everett WA; Hazelwood MO; Huntsville AL; Long Beach CA; Mesa AZ; Oklahoma City OK; Ridley Park PA; Plano TX; or Seal Beach CA.We are looking for an experienced specialist with strong expertise in ObjectOriented languages and modern FrontEnd Frameworks to support the Integrated Repair Management System (IRMS). Responsibilities include new capability development environment management and operational support of IRMS.IRMS supports the Boeing Commercial Airplanes Airplane on Ground (AOG) service by managing damage surveys at customer sites creating Bills of Material and tracking shipment of parts tools and repair items. IRMS also captures customs data and provides information for invoicing airline customers.The selected candidate will collaborate with our Boeing India development team and support the development implementation and ongoing support of the nextgeneration system that will replace IRMS.Position Responsibilities:Develop new capabilities and functionsPerform code reviews and support functional testingProvide operational and sustainment support for the applicationDebug and resolve production issuesWrite user stories and work within Azure Development Operations (DevOps) for DevOps processesDesign program test implement document and maintain computing applicationsGather and evaluate end user requirementsWrite and compile code and construct database objects based on documented design and analyze information to determine architecture specifications parameters for software compatibility application security needs and other application architecture requirementsModify or upgrades applications to maintain software functionalityIdentify and resolve programming or application architecture problemsReview system performance and identifies and recommends improvementsBasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3 years of experience with Object Oriented Design and Programing in a high-level language like C# .NET Java SQL HTML and CSS3 years of experience with Java JavaScript or C3 years of experience in SQLServer and/or Oracle3 years of experience with project tracking software such as Jira and/or Azure DevOps3 years of experience with coding debugging and development3 years of experience in application integration APIs and Microservices3 years of experience developing automation testing & maintaining automation toolsExperience using SonarQube and/or Coverity to instrument trend and manage code qualityPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelors degree or higherExperience with microservices application developmentExperience with third-party cloud set-up and management such as Azure Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Experience with large-scale enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems (e.g 3Dx) and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) (e.g. SAP)Experience with Azure DevOps for application management code repository and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)Drug Free Workplace:Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
