Mid-Level Security & Fire Protection Multi-Operations SpecialistCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for a Mid-Level Security & Fire Protection Multi-Operations Specialist to join the team in North Charleston SC. Boeing is looking for an experienced and motivated Security & Fire Protection Multi Operations Specialist to join a team of experts focused on supporting the mission to protect company people property and information. You will utilize standard processes tools and templates required to enable a compliant and robust program. The primary focus of the program is to enable effective preparation for and efficient response to emergencies and disasters in order to save lives and reduce property loss.Position Responsibilities:Protects company people and assetsInvestigates analyzes and resolves moderately complex questions and problemsDelivers appropriate response to requests for assistanceConsults with and advises management and functional and cross-functional teams regarding activities to protect company people property information and interestsCommunicates clearly with and functions as security liaison between internal stakeholders external organizations and law enforcementResolves security risk management problems and implement improvement processes that require integration across functions to enhance operationsCoordinates and conducts independent reviews assessments and analysis of security measuresProvides assistance and consultation to identify and mitigate the impact of security risksFollows company policy industry best practices and government regulations to mitigate riskAssists in developing specifications for operates and configures video management and access control systemsEngages with and advises contractor and external vendor personnel in support of security operationsPlans work assignmentsInterprets requirements develops procedures and monitors practices to ensure company and government requirements are appropriately implementedSupports the companys threat management processesConducts interviews and generates investigative reportsSupports physical protection of company executives and critical resourcesAssists less experienced personnel with security-related tasksBasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3 years of experience in law enforcement security operations and/or physical security3 years of experience with Incident ResponsePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelors degree or equivalent work or military experience3 years of experience managing security video systems (ex: Lenel or Milestone)3 years of experience with Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Prevention systems3 years of experience working with access controlExperience with Security & Fire Protection Operations policies and proceduresExperience with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)Experience presenting skills to multiple audiences including executive leadershipExperience with written and verbal communication expertise for interaction in a dynamic executive environmentDrug Free Workplace:Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
