Mid-Level Site Industrial HygienistCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Site Industrial Hygienist to join the team in San Antonio TX.This position will be supporting maintenance repair and overall work performed at a Boeing Global Services (BGS) facility and will involve limited traveling. This position serves as primary EHS interface to Operations providingdaily support to maintenance repair and overhaul work performed at SanAntonio will include site wide Industrial Hygiene duties related to compliance oversight in the areas ofRespiratory Protection Hearing Conservation Personal Protective Equipment Ionizing/Non-Ionizing Radiation Vertical Standards Hazard Communication and Industrial duties include supporting incident investigation implementation of company EHS standards and best practices and providing information and metrics in support of achieving functionaland business goals and objectives.Position Responsibilities:Develops implements and monitors occupational health and safety programs and processesDevelops and provides training and instructionsEvaluates the impact of emerging issues regulations and legislation to company operationsDevelops corrective action plan to respond to internal/external audits and inspectionsPlans and conducts health and safety auditsThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Secret Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Security Clearance Post Start is required.This position requires ability to obtain program access for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only (Yankee White Clearance).BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelors degree or higher3 years of experience performing industrial hygiene work within a manufacturing environment3 years of experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Certified Industrial HygienistExperience with Industrial Hygiene (compliance monitoring assessments planning regulations) to included Hazard Communication Respiratory Protection Hearing Conservation Industrial Ventilation Confined Space Heat Stress and Ionizing RadiationDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits: At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
