Mid-Senior Civil Engineer at Pond & Company

About the PositionWe are currently seeking an experienced civil engineer to join our growing team in our Peachtree Corners GA office. The ideal candidate possesses 8 years of related experience and wants to grow collaborate and this position the successful candidate will perform civil site development design for federal clients across the United States and abroad. Projects will span across multiple markets and geographies affording opportunities for broadening knowledge and deepening skill sets related to design projects. We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter. Note that travel on this position is estimated at 25% annually and will include international travel; note that the travel may exceed 25% periodically throughout the year. A valid passport is required for this position.Experience and QualificationsPE License preferred (if not already earned preferred to be able to get a PE license in the near-future)8 years of related experience desired preferably with experience in federal DOD project design and knowledge of applicable UFCs.Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D requiredExperience with guiding and mentoring junior staff desiredAbility to travel to project locations (including international locations) for site visits and meetings anticipated 25% travel per year (at times may exceed 25% travel within a given time period)Valid Passport for international travelAbility to work well within a team environment positive attitude multi-task and self-motivated to produce high quality workAbility and desire to learn and grow professionallyAbout PondPond is an award-winning full-service architecture engineering planning construction management and environmental services firm providing professional solutions to clients throughout the U.S. and globally for nearly 60 years. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Civil Engineer IV with a salary range of $100800.00 - $159800.00 .Additional cash incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package in addition to a range of medical financial and/or other benefits dependent on position offered.
