Humanities at Great Hearts:
· Students read a selection of Great Books from the Western Tradition

At the middle school level, the History courses offered are as follows:
· Introduction to the American Tradition - 6th grade
· Ancient History - 7th grade
· Medieval History - 8th grade
Requirements for teaching:
· Bachelor’s or higher degree is required for a lead teaching role
· Certification is not required for general education
· All majors are welcome
Work Authorization - US work authorization is required, but we do accept OPT/CPT candidates.
