Middle School Nordic Skiing Coach at School Administrative Unit #9

POSITION:Middle School Nordic Skiing Coach REPORTS TO: Building PrincipalSEASON: Mid-November - Mid-FebruarySCHEDULE:Monday through Friday - expect 3 to 4 practices per week 1 race per week* subject to changeSKILLS REQUIRED: Previous nordic skiing coaching experience preferred. The coach will be responsible for team activities including all scheduled practices and games adhere to district policies rules and objectives. The coach will lead by example among the team and players. Focus will be on personal development skill development safety fair play sportsmanship and work to establish and improve the team and program.Candidates should be detail-oriented must meet or be willing to complete all Jackson School District and some NHIAA requirements and be able to travel with the team to and from away games/events. CPR/First Aid certification required but will train if needed.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: There are no benefits associated with this position. Stipend amount $1500.
