Mill Machinist at Aerotek
JOB DESCRIPTION
CNC Mill Machinist
Join our dynamic team as a CNC Mill Machinist in a company that specializes in manufacturing products for the medical device industry and other equipment parts. You will play a crucial role in high-volume production runs, operating 2-4 machines simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Operate 3-axis Mills including Fidals, Mori Sieki, and Robo-Drills.
- Conduct machine setups, tooling changes, and minor program adjustments using Fanuc Controls.
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Ensure work meets tolerances of +/-.0005.
Essential Skills
- 3-5 years or more of milling experience.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting prints.
- Skilled in using micrometers and calipers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with MasterCAM is a plus.
- Troubleshooting and grinding skills.

Work Environment
Work in a smaller company with an open shop layout. Although the shop is not climate controlled, it maintains a standard machine shop environment. The position offers first shift hours from 5:30 am to 4 pm, Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays from 6 am to 12 pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a permanent position based out of Lancaster, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr. Offers benefits through Highmark Blue Shield. Individual and Family plans in network and out of network. Offers a simple IRA with 3% company match. PTO is negotiable. Standard offering is 1.5 days the first year, 1 week after 1 year, and 2 weeks after 3 years. No dental or vision is offered.
