For more information, visit itac.us.com.ResponsibilitiesErect and install structural steel components according to blueprints and specificationsPerform welding and bolt-up activities as required to secure structural elementsUse a variety of tools and equipment to fabricate, measure, and cut steel beams and columnsSafely operate cranes and aerial lifts to lift and position structural componentsConduct inspections to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety regulationsCollaborate with other team members, such as welders, fabricators, and engineers, to complete projects on time and within budgetAdhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and othersRequirementsHigh school diploma or GED equivalentMinimum of 3 years of experience as an Iron Worker in the construction industryStrong knowledge of structural steel components and their installation processesProficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsDemonstrated ability to safely operate cranes, aerial lifts, and other construction equipmentExcellent welding and bolt-up skillsFamiliarity with relevant safety regulations and best practices in the construction industryAbility to work at heights and in various weather conditionsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesBe able to pass background and drug test BenefitsFrom internships to seasoned professionals, our growing company provides career opportunities for all levels of experience.
