Job DescriptionJob Description Now Hiring: Concessions Cooks - Bring the Flavor and the Fun! Do you enjoy the thrill of fast paced work? Taylor Hospitality is searching for high-energy, food-loving, fast moving, friendly cooks to help dish out the fan-favorite snacks that keep our guests coming back for more. Whether enjoying a competitive round of mini-golf, or just simply vacationing at the Inn, you'll be the center of the action, serving up delicious eats with a side of fun! As a concessions cook, you'll be preparing food items according to standardized recipes, ensuring proper cooking and holding procedures, maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace, and assisting with setup and cleanup, all while staying quality-driven, and keeping a safe atmosphere. Compensation: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour, depending experienceWhat You'll be Doing:Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and cutting.Prepare simple dishes like salads and entrees.Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and cutting.Prepare simple dishes like salads and entrees.Clean and sanitize equipment and utensils after use.Perform general cleaning duties, such as removing trash and garbage.Keep the refrigerator stocked and rotate products using the "first in, first out" method.Ensure all ingredients and condiments are displayed for customers.Keep the refrigerator stocked and rotate products using the "first in, first out" method.Ensure all ingredients and condiments are displayed for customers.May be responsible for taking customer orders and ringing up sales.May be responsible for balancing register tills at the end of the day.What We're Looking For: Previous experience in a similar setting/role.High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.Ability to handle cash and make change accurately.Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
