Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Prep Cook Reports To: Shift lead/ Kitchen Operations Manager Roberta’s is looking for a prep cook to join our team! Roberta’s which opened in 2008, helped pave the way for the boroughs’ food scene, the pizza game, offering Neapolitan style wood-fired pizzas, artfully crafted cocktails and a diverse natural wine program and quickly became a mecca for pizza and culture. Roberta’s is actively expanding and is looking for talented people to join the family and grow with us!This is a daytime position and there is a lot to learn here, as well as a lot of room to grow within the company for the right person. Positive vibes only!Job Requirements include:Following a daily prep listFollowing DOH standards Punctuality and reliabilityBeing detail oriented and organizedLabeling and storing items properlyReporting when food or beverage items are running low to shift leadThe desire to learn and grow!Able to stand for long periods of time, lift 50+ pounds, withstand both hot and cold working conditions, be available for nights and weekends etc.QUALIFICATIONS:Applicants should have at least 1 year of kitchen experienceGreat attitude, respectful and a team playerMust be able to stand for at least 8 hours and lift at least 50 poundsMust be able to work in high volume environment
