Purpose of the Position:

• Production of more environmentally friendly, efficient, safer, and even more fascinating luxury SUV models from Mercedes, including electric vehicles.

Essential Functions:

• Work as a member of the production team and assignment of various work tasks according to production or other requirements. Bending, turning, lifting, standing, walking, grasping, seeing, moving, and hearing as required by the respective position.
• Assembly: Assembly of luxury and electric vehicles at assigned workstations on a moving assembly line, performing any combination of tasks according to specifications using hand tools, electric tools, aids, and production devices.
• Body: Loading metal body parts into automated welding equipment to form body assemblies.
• Painting: Painting operations include applying a sealer, sanding, and spraying paint to prepare the vehicle for assembly.
• Battery: Assembly of new technology high-voltage battery systems.

Qualifications: Education, experience, and required skills must all be met to qualify for the position.

You must complete the AIDT enrollment, practical assessment, and interview to qualify.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• Preferably one to three years of industry experience.

Required skills, certifications, etc.:

• Must be present and able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
