Fully accredited by The Joint Commission we offer a full range of services including 24/7/365 Emergency Department and Level IV Trauma Center hospitalist program testing surgery orthopedics rehabilitation and more so that you can experience better health.Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Medical Lab Technologist you will perform vital clinical laboratory procedures to detect identify measure and report data crucial for disease diagnosis and treatment.Every day you will expertly conduct waived and moderate procedures using technical skills instrumentation and information systems providing essential clinical laboratory support while ensuring the quality and accuracy of all tests under leadership direction.To be successful in this role you will possess comprehensive knowledge of laboratory principles across various disciplines (microbiology hematology chemistry etc.) understand sample processing and result interpretation prioritize chemical and biological safety and be adept at operating and maintaining lab equipment.What youll do...Aligning with local and state requirements performs lab test procedures on patient specimens adhering to the Sections Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accurate timely reporting.Provides excellent patient care through clinical correlation of results identification of patterns of bias rapid notification of appropriate caregivers of critical values and completion of testing within established turn-around-time limitsEnsures that major automated equipment is operational by performing required maintenance calibration and troubleshooting procedures; including contacting of instrument vendor for assistance or repairPerforms required calibration and quality control procedures and maintains records to ensure tests are being performed within established parametersPerforms proficiency testing as assigned and review results with laboratory clinical leadersAssists in evaluation and generation of compliant documentation for the validation of new procedures and equipment to provide the physician with the most current laboratory technologyHigh complexity testing in addition to the waived and moderate testing.Job RequirementsAssociates Of Science in a biological or chemical science as defined by CLIA OR High School Graduate with completion of an official military medical laboratory course and held the military enlisted occupational speciality of Medical Laboratory Specialist (Lab Technician).PreferredMedical Laboratory Technician AMT (MLT-AMT)Medical Laboratory Technician ASCP (MLT-ASCP)Medical Lab Tech AAB (MLTECH)Required Experience:IC Key Skills Animal Care,Bidding,Gallery,Instrument Maintenance,Assembling,Building Electrician Employment Type : Unclear Experience: years Vacancy: 1
