MMO - Material Coordinator - 4943 (SAT)Company:Boeing Aerospace OperationsThe Boeing Company is on the lookout for a talented Material Coordinator to join our MMO team in support of San Antonio Texas.Position Responsibilities:Conducts inventory of stored materials and reports deterioration/ damageRemoves and issues material from storage and prepares it for shipmentAble to perform assigned duties while wearing required safety equipmentAble to perform assigned duties on all shifts without encumbrance due to weather or physical location and conditionsMay order parts tools materials and equipment as required to perform assigned dutiesResponsible for complying with all rules and regulations concerning health and safety tool control FOD contracts facilities housekeeping inventory control and other pertinent coverageReviews and analyzes production scheduling requirements to determine products materials and actions necessary to ensure the availability of sufficient materials and hardware to meet schedulesIdentifies investigates analyzes and determines best solutions and coordinates the resolution of problems to ensure adherence to quality standards schedules and budgets for material costsAt times may perform in-depth analysis of complex problems related to material requirement inventories schedules and configuration controlPerforms other duties as directed by supervision and management for the benefit of the company program and employee(s)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):2 years of experience with warehouse inventory including parts accuracy and accountabilityRequires Computer experience and competencyCurrently have or have the ability to obtain a forklift licenseDrug Free Workplace:Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Total Rewards & Pay Transparency:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
