Job Summary Oak Island Detail is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Automotive Detail Technician to join our growing team. This position focuses on providing high-quality vehicle detailing services while delivering excellent customer service. Compensation & Benefits Starting @ $16 per hour probation period plus 100% tips. $18 an hour after 2 week probation period (1099 contractor) Keep 100% of customer tips Company vehicle provided during work hours All supplies and professional detailing equipment provided Consistent workload Opportunity for raises based on performance and reliability Duties & Responsibilities Perform interior and exterior vehicle detailing Hand wash and dry vehicles Vacuum interiors and clean all surfaces Shampoo carpets and seats as needed Clean wheels, tires, and exterior trim Apply waxes, sealants, and interior protectants Perform paint correction and ceramic coating services (if trained) Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicle and equipment Provide professional and friendly customer service Requirements Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Strong attention to detail Reliable and punctual Positive attitude and strong work ethic Detailing experience preferred but not required (training available for the right candidate) Schedule Flexible scheduling options available Weekend availability may be required We have work 4-6 days a week and are looking for flexible candidates Work Location Mobile detailing at customer homes and businesses.
