Job Overview:
We are looking for mobile technicians / mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what's right for our guests.
The position is paid by clock hour and completed work (Flag Hours)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles for our guests
- Honestly assess vehicles and document detailed recommendations of necessary repairs and manufacturer's maintenance recommendations.
- Address all guest concerns.
- Perform a wide range of automotive maintenance and repairs.
- Continuously build experience as an automotive technician across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Review TSB's and other service recommendations and translate to guest needs.
- Politely and professionally communicate with teammates and guests regarding the vehicle.
- Communicate cause and correction for guest concerns regarding their vehicle.
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Wheel and tire repairs & replacements
- Maintain professionalism.
- Keep repair vehicle & tools/equipment clean, organized and presentable
- Master MFG level diagnostic tools (MFG scantools and subscriptions provided by
CBA)
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Must be comfortable driving a 16' box truck
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude.
- Maintain a well-groomed appearance
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
- 3+ years of experience as a professional automotive technician.
- Capable of diagnosing (or desier to learn how to) and repairing all makes/models of vehicles.
- Must have a sufficient knowledge of traffic laws, understand them and follow them.
- Ability to Work and or Flag 40+ hours per week.
- Desire to serve guests.
- Prefer experience with all makes and models.
- Dealership diagnostic equipment experience a plus.
- Current ASE Certifications and/or willingness to obtain ASE Certifications is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds.
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head.
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair.
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of the workday.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Keep a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment.
- Efficiently navigate a computer.
