We are looking for a dedicated and experienced nursing professional to join our team as a Mobile Director of Nursing. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about improving care across multiple long-term care facilities. Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

  • Minimum 3 years of Director of Nursing experience in long-term care

  • Multi-site or regional experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations (CMS, OBRA, etc.)

  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80%)

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in varied facility environments

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical audits and mock surveys to ensure regulatory compliance

  • Analyze Quality Measures and Incident Reports to identify trends and implement corrective actions

  • Support facilities in developing and executing care plans and MDS schedules

  • Monitor medication administration and treatment protocols for consistency and safety

  • Assist facility DONs and nursing staff with training and leadership development

  • Facilitate regional nursing leadership meetings and calls

  • Provide interim DON coverage during vacancies or transitions

  • Assist with staffing assessments and scheduling optimization

  • Support budget planning and resource allocation for nursing departments

  • Ensure consistent implementation of policies and procedures across sites

  • Participate in care conferences and family meetings as needed

  • Promote resident rights and satisfaction through quality initiatives

  • Serve as a liaison between corporate clinical leadership and facility teams

  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and external partners

  • Maintain strong relationships with discharge planners and referral sources
