Job DescriptionMobile Fleet Technician Location: Tuscaloosa ALPay: $35-$45/HourMobile Fleet Technician / Diesel Technician will be joining an established national service provider within the transportation and power systems industry. This is a hands-on field-based position focused on maintaining diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty trucks and diesel-powered equipment at customer sites.The Mobile Fleet Technician / Diesel Technician will carry out inspections preventive maintenance and emergency repairs to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently all while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining compliance with DOT standards.Package & LocationSalary: $35-$45/Hour (depending on experience)Location: Tuscaloosa ALBenefits:Medical Dental and Vision Insurance401(k) Plan with Company MatchPaid Holidays and Paid Wellness DayPaid Time Off and Employee Referral BonusCompany Van and Fuel CardOngoing Training and Professional DevelopmentKey ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality repairs maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks in line with manufacturer specifications.Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical brake emissions and A/C systems.Complete preventive maintenance (PM) services DOT inspections and documentation accurately.Plan repair work estimate labor and parts and execute service tasks efficiently.Use diagnostic software and follow electronic service procedures.Maintain a safe and organized work area including service vehicle and tool inventory.Support and mentor junior technicians when required.Comply with all safety EPA and internal service policies.Requirements3 years experience in diesel or heavy vehicle repair (57 years preferred).Certificate or diploma from a technical school (or equivalent practical experience).Valid Drivers License and ability to obtain DOT Medical Card.Preferred certifications:ASE T4 (Brakes) T7 (HVAC) T8 (Preventive Maintenance)MACS 609 or equivalent mobile A/C certificationStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability across mechanical and electrical systems.Proficient with Microsoft Office and diagnostic software.Clear written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently in physically demanding environments including variable weather and outdoor conditions.Required Experience:IC Key Skills Mobile Device Management,Customer Service,Mobile Devices,Retail Sales,Telephony,Vehicle Maintenance,Automotive Diagnostics,Welding,IOS,Soldering,Sales Support,Troubleshooting Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Hourly Salary Salary: 35 - 45
