Job Description

Title:Model and Simulation Systems EngineerKBR seeks a highly motivated Systems Engineer to support an Intelligence Community Space customer. The successful candidate will possess an understanding of government space architecture and systems insight into resiliency mission fundamentals and the ability to perform modeling and simulation of complex space systems in a Digital Engineering Environment. Modeling and Simulation activities will support the development and validation of requirements Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) architecture products and the development and integration of simulation and analysis tools for space system resilience-related activities in the overall Enterprise.Responsibilities:Modeling and simulation of space systems space and ground segmentsProvide technical expertise in systems and engineering to support resilience enterprise mission operations activities programs systems and processesSupport modeling and simulation including threat assessments/impacts trades and analysesCommunicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiencesParticipate in system design reviews and technical interchange meetingsInterface with customers directorate/office representatives and across system engineering groups to drive resolution plans and strategies for complex technical challengesWork Environment:Location: On SiteTravel Requirements: MinimalWorking Hours: StandardMinimum Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in the STEM field5 years experience in the space systems domainPrior experience with satellite systemsExperience in modeling and simulationExperience analyzing and summarizing data with Microsoft ExcelAbility to generate and maintain technical documentation and reportsDesired Qualifications:Object-Oriented Design and Analysis experienceExperience with orbital analysis tools such as Ansys Systems Toolkit (STK)Prior experience with resilience mission fundamentalsPrior experience with sensor modelingExperience with UML/SysML/UAF modelsExperience working in an Agile development environmentFamiliarity with IC and/or DoDSecurity Requirements:TS/SCI with PolyReady to Make a DifferenceClose with a strong call to action encouraging potential candidates to apply and highlighting the opportunity to make a significant impact in the role.KBR Benefits KBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match medical dental vision life insurance AD&D flexible spending account disability paid time off or flexible work schedule.
