Position Summary:Each resident must receive the care and services to maintaintheir well-being. As the nurse scheduler you are tasked with the duty ensuringadequate number of CNAs and nurses are on duty to provide such care during allshifts. Maintaining the minimum requirements set forth by the state regulationsof staff to patient ratios and also providing adequate staffing to meet theacuity level of each unit.Essential JobFunctions:Our employees are expected to promote an atmosphere of teamwork with otheremployees and hospitality and comfort for its residents. Therefore thefollowing list of duties is not all-inclusive:Develop work schedules with proper allocation ofworkers to duties and shifts.Post 28-day schedules 7-14 days prior to theirstart date to provide adequate notification of employee work schedule.Post staffing shortages to per diem staff forcoverage.Process time off requests after managementapproval to ensure maximum leisure time while maintaining staffing levels andduty coverage. Ensure adequate EBT is available for requests.Verify and adjust times in Attendance on Demandfor staff and agency workers.Prepare and submit reports as needed pertainingto employee attendance.Work closely with staffing agencies to ensureadequate staffing on an as needed basis.Assist with coverage of call outs during regularwork hours.Assist with other duties as needed.MinimumQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.Experience in staffing 25 or more employees.Background in Human ResourcesCNA or CNA-Med Tech certification (required)Skills and Abilities:Must have excellent communication skillsespecially verbal/oral communication.Good organizational and leadership to work with little or no supervision.Must have excellent time management abilities.Must be completely reliable with goodinterpersonal skills.Basic Microsoft Word and Excel capabilities Key Skills Employee Orientation,Operational Risk Management,Primavera,Computer Skills,Primavera P6,Medical office experience,Medical Terminology,Schedule Management,Production Planning,Microsoft Project,Medical Scheduling,Phone Etiquette Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
