Mortgage Software Product Specialist at Washington Trust Bank

DescriptionThe Mortgage Software Product Specialist is a part of the Delivery Team within the Home Loan Division and reports to the VP, Strategic Mortgage & Consumer Lending Division Operations Manager. This position will be responsible for supporting all technology solutions within the Home Loan Division, including providing support to front-line users, working with other Delivery Team members on defect resolution and system enhancements, and performing testing and release management activities.Essential Functions:Builds and maintains a thorough understanding of the Dark Matter Empower platform and related ancillary applicationsProvides end-user support by responding to help desk tickets and assisting users in utilizing the platformExecutes functional and integration tests during platform upgradesWorks with peers across the HLD to drive testing efficienciesTroubleshoots system issues as they ariseAnalyzes business requirements to design and develop optimal configuration solutions to increase efficiency, reduce risk, and/or improve the user experienceParticipates in strategic initiatives alongside the Product Owner and Product Analyst, as neededWorks with the business line to identify opportunities for system enhancementsInterfaces with vendor representatives to resolve issues and obtain information or documentationQualifications:Strong detail orientation with a high level of organizational skills and an ability to multi-taskStrong attention to process improvement to ensure scale and efficiencyDemonstrated self-motivation and initiative; ability to work well both independently and with othersAbility to collaborate with and work effectively with diverse groups of people, managing conflict and negotiating for results when neededStrong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical peoplePreferred experience working in the mortgage or financial services industryPreferred experience working with the Dark Matter Empower platformCompensation: $23.34 - $35.00 per hourThe compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position located in Spokane, WA. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
