Job Title: Paving Superintendent | Req ID: 14656 | HR Contact: Fredric Victor THOMPSON| Location: Golden Office COABOUT THE ROLEResponsible for directing the day to day activities for specific projects. Will provide management, analyticaland administrative support. Manage subcontractors, and paving crews. Coordinate with general contractors,governmental agencies to provide timely completion of projects. Coordinate with appropriate Sales andOperations personnel to ensure timeliness of materials. Responsible for scheduling work and to completeprojects on time, on budget and safely. Co-developing, monitoring and executing the project plan andschedule with the project manager/estimator. Ability to lead people, schedule work, and manage projects.Monitoring cost control, quality, productivity, and safety on projects. Strong verbal and written communicationskills. Ensuring safety in all that we do. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISHAssist management team in ensuring optimum levels of operating efficiency. Maintain levels of qualityand service that will meet or exceed company and customer expectations.Ensures that employees are at work on time, actively engaged in assigned activities and processingpayroll according to established policies and procedures.Provides immediate performance feedback asrequired to resolve employee conflicts, assisting in short-term resolution of emergency situations orattendance issues, conduct, etc.Administers direct supervisory responsibilities for staff including,corrective action, promotional recommendations and work schedules.Ensures that time and attendancefor assigned employees is recorded accurately. Manages subordinate personnel in the various operationsof processing product.Improve productivity, control costs and enhance employee's performancesDemonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety andenvironmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOREducation: Bachelor's degree or 3 years of equivalent experience. 5 or more years of hands on field experience in asphalt. Field of Study Preferred: Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Combination of formal trainingand experience will be consideredRequired Training/Certifications: Computer skills, including Excel, Word Project, etc.Travel Requirements: 10% for training, development and potential projects Additional Requirements:Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
