We are engineers and technicians skilled scientists and bold innovators; Join us and put your passion determination and skill to work building the future!M&PE is looking for a Material Process & Physics Composites Engineer (Entry or Associate Level) to provide technology integration support for the manufacturing of various composites structures at the Boeing Commercial Aircraft (BCA) Fabrication Manufacturing Business Unit in Salt Lake City at the West Jordan Utah facility. You must be able to work in a cross-functional work environment including engineering quality production and program management.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science1 Experience in Composite Materials Development1 Experience in aerospace fabrication or manufacturing1 Experience working in a manufacturing environmentPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience in aerospace manufacturing fabrication and assembly of composites structures3 years of experience working thermoset composites manufacturing of aircraft structuresExperience with manufacturing of composites wing and empennage structuresFamiliarity with aerospace materials and process engineeringExperience with composite and elastomers and associated processing techniquesStrong project planning management and execution skills.Experience in completing requirements-driven materials and process analysis and compiling detailed engineering reports.Coordinates across multiple organizations/sites to engage appropriately skilled employees to work on projects.Prepares annual department budget and manages it throughout year (headcount and expenditures). Prepares monthly budgetary status reports.Works with site Senior Leadership to align projects with factory needs.
