DMOS has an opportunity for a part time (PRN) MRI Technologist to join our team! This role will be responsible for providing quality orthopaedic MRI scans per the physician orders on a per required need schedule in ANKENY Iowa. The individual will primarily be working out of our Ankeny clinic. Youllhelp our patients get back to living by taking the first step in diagnostic care: getting an MRI to figure outwhatswrong. Every day you will work alongside our administrative team and fellow MRI Techs to create a comfortable patient experience ensuring everyone gets their questions answered and understands the MRI process. To thrive in this role you must have a radiology tech license and care about the wellbeing of every patient you see.Heres What You Can ExpectActing as the patients kind guide and reliable helper during their appointment.Being on your feet when greeting and preparing patients for their MRI scans before operating the MRI machine to capture high-quality images.Time to review images and make any necessary adjustments before sending them to the radiologist.This is a private practice whereyoullhave access to ask questions of the care team if you need any clarification.Reaching stooping and walking to prepare the MRI machine for each patient scan.A small close-knit team of professionals you can rely on who work closely with our doctors and staff to provide patient care we are proud of.Scheduling: Ability to provide a reliable PRN schedule.WhatWereLooking ForCertifications: An active radiology tech license and permit to practice in good standing in the state of Iowa.Calm. Ability to communicate calmly and provide reassurance when patients are nervous.Curiosity. You practice the art of listening asking clarifying questions and avoiding interrupting your patient.Independent workers.
