Job Title: MRI TechnologistLocation: Ithaca NY Shift: Evenings 312-hour shifts per weekPosition OverviewA skilled MRI Technologist is needed to perform high-quality diagnostic MRI imaging in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will hold required New York credentials demonstrate strong knowledge of MRI procedures and safety standards and provide exceptional patient care while adhering to all regulatory and departmental guidelines.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform MRI examinations following established protocols and physician instructions.Complete all required documentation including:Patient historyTechnical informationContrast detailsIV injection informationScanning paperwork uploaded into the systemFollow all MRI safety procedures for patients staff and equipment.Properly identify patients and adhere to labeling policies including syringes (date time contrast type initials).Operate department equipment and set acquisition parameters for optimal image quality.Evaluate image quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure diagnostic accuracy.Comply with all departmental policies including proper use of iSTAT (as applicable).Maintain excellent communication with patients technologists and clinical staff.Required Credentials & QualificationsARRT certification in Diagnostic Imaging.New York State License (NYS DOH).Enhanced NYS license required for administering injections.Proficiency with MRI protocols safety standards and contrast administration.Strong understanding of MRI departmental procedures and workflow.For more details reach at .About Navitas Healthcare LLC: It is a certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
