As two of the regions most respected providers of orthopedic and upper extremity care we offer a collaborative patient-focused environment that prioritizes clinical excellence innovation and ongoing professional development.Position SummaryThe MRI Technologist will perform MRI imaging procedures on patients following accepted standards of practice and protocols. This role includes preparing patients maintaining patient comfort and safety administering contrast agents performing equipment quality checks and completing all required documentation. The MRI Technologist collaborates with healthcare personnel adheres to facility policies and ensures compliance with safety quality assurance and confidentiality standards. This is a PRN position with variable schedule depending on patient needs.Key Responsibilities:Perform MRI imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions according to protocols and standards of practice.Prepare patients for procedures explain processes and ensure patient safety comfort and care.Administer contrast agents per site-specific protocols.Perform equipment quality checks troubleshoot issues and coordinate service calls as needed.Maintain technical competency through ongoing education.Cooperate with facility healthcare personnel and comply with all facility policies and procedures.Provide images to facilities in the required format.Maintain a clean environment in the imaging suite and surrounding areas.Complete all administrative and documentation tasks accurately.Follow quality assurance guidelines patient confidentiality regulations and all safety policies.Assist with setup and teardown of equipment as needed following SMS and manufacturer guidelines.Perform additional duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation:Radiographer certification requiredLicenses & Certifications:Radiographer certification requiredAdditional state-specific licenses as applicableExperience:Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist in a clinical or hospital settingCompensation & BenefitsOpportunities for growth and advancementEmployee referral reward programAbout Premier Orthopaedics & Philadelphia Hand to ShoulderPremier Orthopaedics and Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center (PHSC) are leading providers of comprehensive musculoskeletal care throughout Pennsylvania New Jersey and Delaware.Premier Orthopaedics delivers expert treatment for orthopedic injuries joint disease interventional spine care regenerative medicine and comprehensive physical therapy services supported by more than 150 providers across 50 locations.
