JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 26-week contract assignment in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have strong MRI imaging experience, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.


Job Title: MRI Technologist

Location: Boston, MA, 02115

Shift: Days/Nights/Evenings

Schedule: 3*12

Pay: $65-70/hour

Contract Duration: 26 Weeks

Start Date: 06/21/2026

Role Overview:

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic results. This role involves operating MRI equipment, preparing and positioning patients for scans, maintaining imaging quality standards, and collaborating closely with radiologists and healthcare teams in a fast-paced clinical environment. The technologist must follow all MRI safety protocols and provide compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and department protocols
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
  • Prepare and position patients appropriately for MRI examinations
  • Operate MRI equipment and maintain image quality standards
  • Screen patients for MRI safety compliance and contraindications
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to any concerns or emergencies
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care
  • Follow all infection control, safety, and departmental protocols


Required Qualifications:

  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
  • BLS Certification required
  • Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, anatomy, and patient safety practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
