Are you ready to go beyondWhat You Will Do:We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Bridgeport WV as an MRO Engineer Overhaul Support this role you will provide engineering support to the P&W Canada aftermarket network in the maintenance and repair of P&WC engines. To succeed in this role you will be a detail oriented and safety conscious professional with a proven track record of seeing projects through completion. The person in this role will work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.Key Responsibilities:Provide support to P&WC aftermarket network in the maintenance and repair of P&WC engines focusing in the disassembly inspection assembly and test. Carry out projects and studies related to engine assembly and work scoping. Responsibilities include:Provide guidance and training to Customer personnel in performing maintenance procedures and techniques in regards of P&WC engines overhaul.Analysis of technical issues related to assembly disassembly and test of PWC engines to determine root cause and recommend corrective action.Evaluate engine deviations and special work scopes requirements exceeding approved limits and provide disposition.Review and validate disassembly and assembly instructions in overhaul manuals.Support technical inquiries from PWC owned shops and DOF/TSA network.Lead Engineering and Productivity projects assigned within functional disciplineQualifications You Must Have:Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 8 years experience in maintenance repair and overhaul documentation and processes of jet engines OR an Advanced Degree in Engineering and 5 years prior relevant experienceQualifications We Prefer:Prior experience and technical knowledge with P&W Canada engine familiesPrior experience with assembly/disassembly and test procedures of P&W Canada enginesWhat is my role typeIn addition to transforming the future of flight we are also transforming how and where we work. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
